Storyteller, book lover, lifelong learner. Years of my own searching have led me here. To a place where, while still learning, I've gracefully found a deep connection to my authentic self. I believe in the power of story and I know that the words of Brene Brown are absolutely true;

 "Owning your story is the bravest thing you'll ever do."

Originally from Kentucky (with stops in California, Ohio and Indiana), I have recently moved to my dream farmhouse in rural Iowa. An unconventional return "home," to a place of my husband's roots, though we had only visited in the past. Along with our two children and sweet dogs, we've traded the suburbs and settled into the wide open spaces off a gravel road with views of fields and pastures as far as the eye can see.
